In 2022, we were lucky enough to be able to take care of the table centerpieces for the celebration of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal’s 200th anniversary. Very important figures of the Montreal financial scene were present, including the Mayor of Montreal, Valérie Plante, and Michel Leblanc, the president and CEO of said Chamber of Commerce.
The Montreal Chamber of Commerce took its first steps in 1822, when Thomas Blackwood, the first president of the Montreal Board of Trade, and 53 other regional businessmen got together. In 1887, Joseph-Xavier Perrault focused on the francophone business community by creating the Chambre de commerce du district de Montréal. These two organizations united force in 1992, to create de Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal that we know today.
This institution became a well-known commercial organization with ties around the world, presenting events and conferences with standouts such as Barack Obama, Biz Stone, Larry King and Hilary Clinton.
We designed elegant and distinguished centrepieces which would reflect the night’s importance. Succulents of different heights created a modern tiered effect, placed on a bed of green moss and grass. We then used illuminated coloured glass bottles filled as a lantern, diffusing a soft and gentle light.
We sincerely thank the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal for this honour and thank you to the organizational team for the trust they put in us for this important event.
